Family Day: Art in Motion

Bring the family for an afternoon of art and movement in collaboration with Shen Wei Dance Arts! Guest artists and performers will lead playful activities that invite children to explore art through dance, mark-making, and sound. A sensory friendly space is offered for families wishing for a quieter environment.
Perfect for all ages and abilities. Registration recommended.

Guest artist Chelsea Retzloff is a professional Dancer, Company Manager, and Education and Rehearsal Director for Shen Wei Dance Arts. She has performed in over 17 countries, in 61 cities and at every major venue (Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Kennedy Center etc.) in the United States, China, Europe and South America.
Her experience led her to develop the Multidimensional Dance curriculum that is now in its fifth year in New York City public schools.
The KMA welcomes visitors of all abilities to enjoy and engage with its exhibitions and programs. As a member of Bedford's Inclusive Initiative, we are certified as a Neurodivergent Supportive Organization and can offer accessible accommodations upon request.
