Part-Time Bookkeeper

The Part-Time Bookkeeper supports the Museum’s financial operations by managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate records, and assisting with budgeting and reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a mission-driven, creative environment and can work independently with a small team.

Internships

Our internship program was created with the intention of continuing to evaluate ways in which we can enhance the visibility of the Museum’s programs to attract a diverse audience – the overarching goal being to to build a program that serves students’ educational and professional development needs. Our aim is to nurture up‐and‐coming public relations professionals by offering a unique opportunity to work with a team that develops innovative programs that support the Museum’s growth.

The KMA provides supervised Museum internships designed collaboratively to meet the requirements for school credit. Students also have the opportunity to volunteer for community service credit. The KMA is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization and an equal opportunity employer.

Volunteers

KMA volunteers are a special group of supporters who enrich the Museum through their energy, enthusiasm and service. Volunteers engage in a wide variety of activities from welcoming visitors and marketing events, to facilitating hands-on activities for kids and families.

Join Our Docent Team

Become an active member and expand your horizons. Many volunteer opportunities are available for curious, energetic adults. As an example, our engaging docent tour guides are a dynamic group of art enthusiasts who participate in college-level training workshops for each new and varied exhibition.
