Ali Banisadr: The Alchemist First Look
March 15 2025 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Experience the Katonah Museum of Art’s new exhibition, Ali Banisadr: The Alchemist before it opens to the public! The first major U.S. museum survey of contemporary artist Ali Banisadr, this landmark exhibition encompasses nearly twenty years of the artist’s singular practice. Banisadr creates complex, turbulent worlds rich with references from across art, history, philosophy, world events, and mythology – as well as references to our own tempestuous times. An illustrated catalogue, distributed by Yale University Press, accompanies the exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.
