Drop-In Drawing

Join KMAA Artist Sherry Camhy for drop-in sketching workshops inspired by the art of Ali Banisadr. Each session explores new techniques, methods, and materials, offering unique creative experiences every time.  Participants will draw inspiration from works of art in the galleries, followed by a sketching session in the Marilyn D. Simpson Sculpture Garden. Basic drawing supplies are provided. The program is designed for adults of all skill levels—no experience or registration needed.  

Free with admission.  

 

About the Instructor:

Sherry Camhy is an accomplished artist and curator whose work has been featured in numerous museums, galleries, and art publications. She teaches and leads workshops at institutions including the School of Visual Arts, the New York Academy of Art, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and the Art Students League, as well as in locations around the world—from Italy and Ireland to Cuba. When not teaching, Sherry can be found creating in her West Chelsea studio in New York City.

 

The mission of the Katonah Museum Artists' Association (KMAA) is to develop and enhance an artistic community by providing exhibition opportunities, educational programs, and venues for networking while supporting the activities and exhibitions of the Katonah Museum of Art.
