October 19, 2008 - January 11, 2009 Conversations in Clay
|
This exhibition celebrates clay, a natural material rich in human history and found in virtually every culture around the world. Clay’s malleability, expressive potential, and cultural connections make it a dynamic medium in the hands of contemporary artists. The ten artists in Conversations in Clay use this ancient material to create exciting, thought-provoking installations – environments that surround and involve the viewer.
