Spend Quality Time
The Learning Center is an exciting interactive learning lab where children and their parents explore, interpret, and create art. Hands-on lessons, a computer and video stations offer great opportunities to foster the imagination of your child.

Drop-In Activities

The Museum's Learning Center is an interactive exhibition space for children to experience the fun of artisitic exploration.

Families are invited to drop in during Museum hours. (During special Museum events and workshops, the Learning Center may not be available. Please call ahead.)

Story Hour

Saturdays, 10:30 am
Children of all ages and family members welcome.
No charge, for children under 12.

See-and-Do Art Activities
Saturdays, 1:00 pm
Sundays, 1:30 pm
View and discuss the art on exhibition, then participate in a related hands-on art activity.
Ages 4 and up accompanied by an adult.
No charge, for children under 12.

Workshops

Tuesdays for Tots
A course of four sessions will introduce both the young artist and the adult caregiver to the imaginative use of different art materials. Children will work with paint, collage, and sculpture, developing ideas for creating art at home.
Reservations required. Ages 3 to 5 with an adult.

Art Adventures
Art Adventures is a child-friendly blend of art history, art appreciation, and art project. The current exhibition will be the starting point for this hands-on approach to looking at, understanding, and creating art.
